Portable Carbon Fiber Mast - Antenna Mounting Solutions - Lil Dude 6

There are currently 19 section and will be 20. Sorry for any confusion, I am limited on time and doing what I can. ____________ Description from Etsy What do we have here? A 6m (actual extended length: 5.9M / 19.357 Ft), just over 1 pound (Roughly 1 pound .75 oz) carbon fiber mast for use with ham radio, parks on the air, summits on the air, fishing, and even impressing your friends with your grower, not a shower. a total of 20 sections. The original was supposed to be 18 sections, but due to some troubles with the manufacturer, I had to adapt. ' Bottom O.D. is roughly 37.5mm and top O.D. will be roughly 5mm. Expected ship date: Sept 25 2024! Do not buy this if you do not understand this. All Masts are in hand, but I am awaiting one section for each mast to be delivered. Estimated Ship time is Before September 20th. This is an Estimate as the extra mast sections are being delivered from my manufacturer. These masts are intended for wire antennas only and consist of a 5mm OD top section (The section I am awaiting), to help prevent a the typically fragile tips from breaking. I am not saying it won't break, though! In my testing : stabbing the top section into the ground will break the section.... they're heavy duty, not Indestructible. Extending the mast fully, grabbing the smallest section and doing a judo throw on it, will break it, Playing monster trucks with real trucks....you guessed it; It will break it if you roll it over. Overall, these turned out great and I couldn't be more happy with them! Shipping can be combined. The box is 18x3x3, which means I could most likely fit 3 in each box. This will save on shipping. Shipping is exact cost. Sorry if you think shipping is expensive, make a complaint to your USPS. WARNING: Watch your overhead surroundings. Carbon Fiber is conductive and you need to be aware of your surroundings. Need a Cheap CW Key for Ham Radio? I am Not a CW Expert, but I still love comparing and tearing apart things to understand how they work. So in this episode, I purchased 3 CW keys from AliExpress, Amazon.com, and Putikeeg.com. Are there any differences (That I, an amateur can observe)? How does the key work? I'll start of by saying, as a non expert of CW, I think the keys are great for a beginner or someone looking for a throw around key. Cheap CW Key for Ham Radio - Putikeeg Vs AliExpress Vs Amazon (TUMD CW Key).

The Flatlander's EFHW Portable antenna is a complete ready to go antenna, a portable High Frequency (HF) antenna for the 40, 20 15, and 10 meter Amateur Radio bands without a tuner. With a 10:1 tuner it is usable on the 30, 17, and 12 meter bands. It is rated for 100 watts digital and SSB. The Flatlander's EFHW Portable Antenna is now 3D printed from ASA filament which is UV resistant and won’t warp if left out in the sun. ASA filament is used for a lot of outdoor items. Out of the box, the swr is best when the antenna has been tuned in a sloper configuration at a height of 32ft with the UnUn 3ft off the ground for low SWR on the 40, 20, 15, and 10 meter bands. During testing the SWR on the 40, 20, 15, and 10 meter bands was under 1.5 to 1. With no tuner required. The 30, 17, and 12 meter bands require a 10 to 1 tuner. Some final tuning may also be required due to your location and any other antenna configuration. Don't let the size of the antenna fool you, due to it's efficient UnUn it is great for QRP operations. At 5 watts or less every watt counts. The Flatlander's EFHW Portable antenna is configurable to facilitate Near-Vertical Incident Sky wave (NVIS) communications. It is designed for short to long range portable and man-packable HF communications. For use with POTA, SOTA, Field Day, or any other portable operations. Flatlander's EFHW Portable antenna is ideal for hiking, backpacking, and both tent and Recreational Vehicle (RV) camping. The antenna can be deployed by the operator in the field in less than 15 minutes, using almost any available support, with no masts or guying required. The antenna wire is wound around the Inner Shell making the antenna easy to manage and quicker to deploy and take down than other antennas with the standard figure 8 winders. The wire comes off the winder in a smooth straight condition as opposed to being crimped in a zigzag pattern. To deploy the antenna wire, hold the outer shell and gently pull the wire out. When finished operating, there is a lever that swings out and allows you to wind up the wire like a fishing reel.
